I'm in stitches!

It's just so funny how a year's worth of pain can end in some serious pain, even more serious pain killers and 15 staples.

I spent the last year or so with pain in my right leg and increasingly unable to stand for shorter and shorter lengths of time. Around Christmas, I was standing hunched over and I began to use a cane while walking. I also began to use those electric carts in stores while shopping. We even bought a wheel chair to use when those carts were not available.

My doctor diagnosed spinal stenosis and severely compressed discs in my L3, L4 and L5 vertebrae. Spinal stenosis is basically a problem I was apparently born with - the vertebrae are malformed and begin to squeeze the nerves that come off the spinal cord. My case was severe enough that without surgery I would eventually be unable to stand. In effect, I had an old man's back in a young man's body.

I had surgery to shave those vertebrae so they don't squeeze the nerves coming off the spinal column. I went into the hospital two weeks ago. The operation was 3 hours long and the incision was 6 inches long from the top of ass crack up, sealed with 15 staples.

I was in pretty serious pain the first night but I was out of bed and walking the next morning. I went home from the hospital the morning after that and now I can walk and stand normally.

I can even fuck the wife better than before!
